What personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it. Last updated 4 November 2026.

Who we are

Ogunjebi Cyber Services is a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada, owned and run by Olumide Ogunjebi. We follow Canada's federal privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Olumide is responsible for privacy at Ogunjebi Cyber Services. You can reach him at olumide@ogunjebicyber.com.

What we collect

When you contact us

The contact form asks for your name, business name, email address, the service you're interested in, and optionally a phone number and a message. If you arrive from the free security check, the form also carries the domain you checked and its grade, score and issues. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in the email.

When you use the free security check

The check runs in your own browser. It looks up your domain's public DNS records through Google Public DNS and Cloudflare. If you type an email address, only the part after the @ is checked. We don't receive or store what you check unless you choose to send the result to us with the contact form.

When you visit the site

Like any website, our host (Netlify) processes basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address. We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

When we work for you

To support your IT or email security, we may need access to your systems, accounts or settings. We only access what the job needs, we never change anything without your OK, and we keep your passwords and data confidential.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your request, prepare quotes, provide the services you ask for, send invoices and keep the business records the law requires. We don't sell, rent or trade personal information, and we won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of trusted service providers:

Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. While it is there, it is subject to that country's laws and may be accessible to its authorities.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records for clients, such as invoices, are kept for as long as Canadian tax law requires, usually six years, and then deleted.

How we protect it

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), our email domain is protected with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and access to your information is limited to the people who need it to help you.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted where we don't need to keep it by law. You can also withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time. Email olumide@ogunjebicyber.com and we'll reply within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
